I used to have brutal pimples. They were in the worst spots too — always between my eyebrows and on my cheeks right near my nose. Could it be any worse? I guess anyone with acne thinks theirs is the worst — and I feel for you…. You can’t exactly hide your face. Well — masks these last couple of years can hide your zits around your mouth, but it also made breakouts a lot worse so it was a total catch-22.

I even had times when my pimples were so nasty that I wore a bandaid and lied and said my cat scratched me. Or worse, I used my mom's concealer, but she’s African American and my skin is more of an olive tone….need I say more?? It was beyond embarrassing.

But, not as embarrassing as showing the swollen pimples I couldn’t resist popping.

For the last 15 years though, my skin has been as clear, even and blemish free as possible. Friends ask me about it, even random people comment on how glowing it is and I have almost forgotten that at one point in my life, that really, really wasn’t the case.

I started with small changes and continuted learned more about what affected my skin as I progressed. The changes I made ended up working for the long haul, so I’m here to share my findings…
