First off – What even is your circadian rhythm?

Simply put, it’s your internal, natural time cycle that regulates your sleep and wake cycle over a 24-hour period.

Naturally, our bodies want to wake up with the sun and rest as it sets. However, work hours, screens, cities, social commitments, etc make that difficult – these days more than ever.

If you find yourself wishing you weren’t so darn groggy in the morning, and wishing you were tired earlier, this article is for you!

Here are some proven ways to advance your circadian rhythm (I’ve also applied these myself and they worked wonders).

The number one way to get back into a rhythm is: Get up an hour or two earlier than you usually do and expose your eyes to sunlight.
