How to get back out there — for the anxious introverts.

If you’re introverted and anxiety prone like me — coming out of this pandemic might be harder than being in it. Here are some tips on how to re-integrate.

For some of us, as restrictions ease — we are just so excited to be close to people again, but for us introverted and hermiting types? It’s causing a lot of anxiety and that makes sense!

Maybe being away from people this long has caused you a lot more anxious about being social. It has been weird not seeing people, how do you even small talk any more? I hear you.

Perhaps you had someone close to you get really sick, maybe you got really sick — or maybe you’ve avoided getting Covid this entire pandemic and you just want to keep it that way. Regardless of the reasons behind your hesitations on re-integrating, it’s important to connect with humans — it really is. We are social beings and even in the smallest amounts, it will have a positive impact on your mental health to connect with people you love.

So for my anxious friends, here are some tips that might help you.
