How to get unstuck when you’re depressed & feeling hopeless
Here is a really simple process of how I got out of my depression — twice.
Anyone who has been depressed knows the profound feeling of being completely stuck.
You feel as if you’re in a bottomless pit that just keeps getting harder to climb your way out of — and you just keep digging yourself deeper and deeper. Simply put? It sucks.
Even the most simple tasks, like showering, can feel pointless and easier to just brush off — only to perpetuate your feeling of worthlessness.
This can get really dangerous. You might even be scared of your own thoughts. Fearful that there is no way out. Wondering how the hell you let yourself get to this and are completely hopeless about getting out.
I hear you.
I’ve been there too and I think many of us can relate especially given the last couple of years on this planet we all call home. And with social media and the news and smartphones and TVs and all the shit — there’s no running away from it!
So — we need to solve it for ourselves. Nobody is going to save you — if you’re waiting for that? You’ll be waiting indefinitely.
