If You’re Having Drenching Night Sweats — Read This.
I drove myself crazy trying to find the source of my night sweats when it was right in front of me the whole time.
I have spent over a year now trying to figure out the source of my night sweats. This was a new experience for me, waking up drenched through my sheets in my own perspiration…why was this happening in my 30s all of the sudden?
Was it my hormones?
Was I going through early onset menopause? (Googling this left me spiraling)
Was it something I was eating? Nah — this couldn’t be it, I wasn’t eating anything new…
Do I have tuberculosis?!
Do I have cancer?!
Needless to say — I went down the Google rabbit hole a little bit too far and realized it was time to speak with a specialist. The stress of it all was surely not helping my night sweat situation.
So…the appointments with endless practitioners began.
I had blood work done, multiple times. No answers.
I kept a journal to see if it was linked to my cycle. No correlation.
I tried acupuncture. Nope.
I saw chiropractors, physios, naturopathic doctors, RMTs, MDs…all of which could not come to any conclusion that I hadn’t already tried.
