Maybe so! But I know people who still do it, and on a budget. It just means some sacrifice thats for sure, and truly depends on where you live, and how you want to raise your children. Things have changed for sure, but many parts of the world still function this way. I'm living in a really remote town for the winter and everyone makes everything from scratch for their kids, its awesome!
