Men Are Becoming Increasingly Angry
And we need to find a solution before more damage is done.

I had a long chat with a friend recently, and the topic of angry men came up.
She shared the quote:
“If you’re raised with an angry man in your house, there will always be an angry man in your house.”
We’ve both noticed more angry people these days, especially men. We have our own theories about it — mainly we think it's because women are finally able to climb to the top in companies, and therefore are increasingly financially independent— at least here in Canada and the United States.
The reason for this angering men so much is because: (generally speaking)
a) they feel emasculated when their boss is a woman
b) they have to work harder to prove their worth nowadays
c) women don’t need/ rely on them as much
These days, if a woman wants to have a baby, and is dating an asshole, she has the choice to leave him and support the baby on her own. It’s hard work, but we have that option now — and that makes men furious.
They legitimately don’t know what to do with themselves — they can’t get away with being controlling pricks anymore, because we will simply just leave them!
This is no doubt causing men to lash out. Even my own brother has had his moments of hatred towards women, bashing them for no reason — but of course, I call him out of his insecurities and he always comes around. Thankfully my brother is self-aware, but it’s a knee-jerk reaction he has — it seems biological, or generationally held built-in.
He was dating a woman who was younger than him, who was earning three times his salary, and I could tell that bothered him. She would treat him to things and he couldn't keep up with her spending and the relationship eventually ended. He ended it, not because she had a problem with it, but because he did.
Now, I fully understand how generations of the classic male provider structure embedded in our minds are challenging…
