My Oura Ring Is Improving My Health — But, In A Very Unexpected Way

I am not a tech gadget person, in the slightest. I hate any apps that I don’t 100% need, I never get the latest phone when it comes out and I have never even owned my own TV (until of course I lived with my boyfriends — who always have TV’s) — so the idea of me wearing a piece of tech like the Oura ring, was pretty far fetched.

I knew about them for a while though, hearing about them on the various podcasts I listened to in hopes of finding the secret hack to get better sleep. My ears perked a bit after I heard Dave Asprey rave about how much he loved his because I share the same opinion as him on many of his health opinions. I decided against it for a while though because I don’t like being surrounded by EMFs, especially when I’m sleeping! However, after a recent visit to my naturopathic doctor to help with a long reoccurrence of my vengeful insomnia — she recommended it to me not only for sleep but for balancing my nervous system my monitoring sleep, and HRV, I decided to do more research. I liked what I read and finally decided to pull the trigger when I learned that the EMFs are actually extremely low, especially in comparison to all the other shit were surrounded by.

To give a short back story — I have struggled with poor sleep and at times severe insomnia for years. Sometimes it’s better than other times but I can’t remember a time where sleep didn’t stress me out. I would think about it incessantly throughout the day, knowing that I’d be frustrated that it wasn’t…
