PEMF Therapy For Menstrual Cramps — A Game Changer

Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) is something I’ve written a little bit about already and I’m committed to continuing to share my experiences with you as I try it out for different ailments of myself and on my friends. My hope is that treatments like this start being more openly used rather than the pharmaceutical industry being what we depend on most for healing.

One thing I have wanted to try PEMF treatment for is menstrual cramps, but I only recently purchased my own device for home use. I was previously booking appointments with a couple practitioner friends of mine and was never able to time my visit perfectly with the onset of my cramps. I also didn’t want to take the chance of booking and cancelling last minute because my cramps are 20/10 bad sometimes.

A little back story for the ladies who can relate…

When I got my first period, it was only within the first few cycles that my cramps were so unbearable that I missed school on day one. I would spent the day laying on the floor, hugging the toilet with nausea and the diarrhea. As soon as I noticed the bleeding start — within hours I was nearly unable to walk, keeled over and running to the washroom with the runs. I never threw up, but always had severe nausea, sweats, shakes and immense cramping pain to the point of my legs being weak.
