Some people, like myself, are very sensitive and in tune with subtle changes in their bodies. For example, when I’m at my computer for too long, staring at a screen — I get tired, I can get headaches, and/or just feel generally out of sorts.
On the flip side, if I’m away from my phone in nature, even just in my backyard barefoot, I immediately feel more grounded and at ease. I would argue that to some extent, most people can notice a shift.
I live in a decently large city and have mostly lived in apartments until last year when I moved into a house. My apartment had wifi signals from all my neighbors, and I noticed it. For ages, I didn’t know what was causing my unrest. I could feel a buzzing within me and had really severe insomnia for months — if not years.
I started to look into causes of insomnia and technology (screens) at night is one of the biggest contributors to poor sleep these days. I started to make some minor changes, but the deeper I went into it — the more I learned how its not so just about the screens, it’s about all the tech, the 5g, the microwaves, the lights, the wireless everything, the Bluetooth, that's playing into this bigger issue.
